Get Hitched at Disneyland's Haunted Mansion: Everything You Need to Know! (2026)

Imagine saying "I do" in a place where the eerie charm meets fairy tale romance—Disneyland's Haunted Mansion is now open for weddings! As guests step through the foreboding foyer and cross the threshold into this beloved attraction, they are greeted by a ghostly host who ominously proclaims, "There’s no turning back now." This phrase takes on an exciting twist this coming July, as Disneyland has revealed that its iconic haunted estate will officially welcome couples for their wedding ceremonies for the very first time!

The cost of hosting your wedding at this spooky yet enchanting venue ranges from $25,000 to $40,000, which covers the use of the mansion’s atmospheric courtyard. Korri McFann, the marketing director for Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings and Honeymoons, shared, "Couples today seek out unique destination wedding venues that tell stories reflecting their passions and interests. The Haunted Mansion has always been a fan favorite, and we are thrilled to help make their dream wedding come true!"

While this sounds like a magical opportunity, there are some limitations to consider. The ceremony can accommodate up to 25 guests, excluding the bride and groom, and weddings must occur before the park opens, which could be quite the logistical challenge—especially on days when Disneyland opens as early as 8 a.m. on July 1.

In terms of amenities, Disneyland provides basic lighting for the event, along with an officiant, transportation from the Disneyland Resort hotels, light decorations, and photography services. However, it’s important to note that Disney entertainment is mandated for this location, though details regarding what this includes and additional costs are still unclear. Unfortunately, a representative from the wedding unit’s PR team was unavailable for immediate comment.

The Haunted Mansion, which first welcomed guests in 1969, underwent extensive renovations and reopened in January 2025, featuring a garden that emphasizes storytelling, alongside a newly constructed greenhouse for guests waiting in line. One of the mansion’s standout characters is, fittingly, a tragic bride whose appearance has been enhanced with cutting-edge projections that allow her to float gracefully while holding a three-pronged candelabra.

This new wedding offering coincides with Disney’s celebration of 35 years of Fairy Tale Weddings and Honeymoons, during which the company has promised a series of surprise announcements each week throughout February.

Previously, couples had the option to exchange vows at various picturesque locations within the Disney realm, such as courtyards and ballrooms at the Grand Californian Hotel, the Disneyland Hotel ballroom, the Fantasyland Faire Garden, and even the striking forecourt of Sleeping Beauty’s Castle, where starting prices begin at $100,000.

For those intrigued by the prospect of booking their nuptials at the Haunted Mansion, more information can be found at Disneyweddings.com. Additionally, interested parties can participate in a boutique tour, with the next Southern California event scheduled for March 7 in Rancho Cucamonga.

What do you think about Disneyland opening the Haunted Mansion for weddings? Is it a dream come true or a gimmick? Share your thoughts in the comments!
