Madison Scott's journey to the WNBA began on a simple note, but it was a moment that would forever change her life. While sitting in her fourth-grade classroom at Ardmore Elementary School in Prince George's County, Maryland, she heard her name being called out as one of the girls who made the basketball team. This was the spark that ignited her passion for the sport.
Fast forward to the present, and Scott is now a rising star in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). She plays for the Washington Mystics, a team that has embraced her talent and potential. But her story is not just about basketball; it's a tale of resilience, growth, and the power of community.
Born and raised in the DMV (District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia) area, Scott has experienced the diverse landscapes and challenges that this region offers. Her early life was marked by foster care, moving from Silver Spring to Bowie, and eventually settling in the city of Washington, D.C. These experiences shaped her character and laid the foundation for her future success.

Her love for the youth and their athleticism led Scott to establish the Madison Scott Basketball Foundation, a non-profit youth basketball camp. This foundation allows her to give back to the community and mentor young dreamers, much like those who supported her during her formative years.
The camp, hosted in St. Croix and Oxford, Mississippi, is free for attendees and focuses on sharpening basketball and life skills. Scott's personal journey, from a young mom to a successful athlete, inspires her to pay it forward and create opportunities for others.
