Singer's Ultimate Porsche 911 Turbo: The Sorcerer's Journey (2026)

Singer's Magical Porsche 911 Turbo: A Masterpiece of Engineering and Design

For over a decade, Singer has been the epitome of retro-futurism, breathing new life into the classic 964-generation Porsche 911. Their journey began with the 'Classic' models, followed by the raw and powerful 'DLS'. Now, the highly anticipated DLS Turbo lineup has finally arrived, paying homage to the iconic 934/5 that dominated the 1977 Trans-Am season in North America.

The star of the show is the 'Sorcerer', a masterpiece crafted by its owner. This stunning vehicle boasts a Fantasia Blue exterior, complemented by Champagne-colored magnesium wheels with a seven-dual-spoke design. But it's not just about looks; the Sorcerer's body kit is a sight to behold, featuring a massive front bumper, splitter, rear wing, and diffuser, all working together to generate downforce and ensure exceptional track performance.

Stepping inside, the Sorcerer's cabin is a symphony of textures and colors. The Pebble Grey leather upholstery provides a luxurious base, while Pearl Grey Alcantara seat centers and Champagne piping add a touch of elegance. The bespoke 'floating' gauges, discrete navigation, and phone connectivity seamlessly blend traditional and modern elements.

At the heart of the Sorcerer lies a powerhouse engine. It's a 3.8-liter flat-six twin-turbocharged unit with four valves per cylinder, capable of revving to an astonishing 9000 rpm. This beast produces an incredible 522 kW and 750 Nm of torque, rivaling the outputs of the current 911 Turbo S hybrid. However, the DLS Turbo's power is harnessed through a six-speed manual transmission, allowing the driver to control the gearbox via an exposed mechanism shifter.

To keep the Sorcerer in check, Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires and a CCM-R carbon ceramic braking system are fitted. Singer also boasts about the DLS Turbo's advanced safety features, including the latest generation ABS, traction control, and electronic stability control, developed in collaboration with Bosch. Drivers can choose from five modes (Road, Sport, Track, Off, and Weather) to adapt to various driving conditions.

"With the DLS Turbo, we wanted to celebrate the 911's evolution as an icon on both the road and the track," said Rob Dickinson, Singer's founder, executive chairman, and creative director. "This car is a testament to our clients' vision and our commitment to pushing boundaries. Seeing the Sorcerer ready for its owner to drive is an exhilarating moment for us, and we couldn't have asked for a better way to kick off the new year."

This masterpiece is a testament to Singer's ability to blend timeless design with cutting-edge engineering, creating a driving experience that is both exhilarating and refined. As Jordan Mulach, the motoring editor, notes, Singer's cars are a collaboration with clients worldwide, and the DLS Turbo is their most ambitious project yet. Get ready to be enchanted by the Sorcerer's magic!
